Share Capital and have the letters of Patents registered as of July 19,
2006 .
b) We have also been assigned a business number by the
Canada Customs and Revenue Agency as apart of the Provincial Govt.
affiliation with the Federal Government.
c) Now that we have our

of Consumers and Business Services and must be filed each time a new slate
of officers are elected.
d) We have a constitution drafted which
is now part of the Coldwater Shuffleboard Club’s charter.
e) The
name “COLDWATER SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB” is an officially registered name and
the name search was completed by the Law offices of Lewis Downey Tornosky
and Lassaline.
f) We have applied for a grant of $1,000.00 from
the Township of Severn and will be reviewed later this year.
g) We
have applied for a Grant of $3,000.00 from The Community Foundation of
Orillia and Area / and one of their stipulations was that we must be
registered as a not for profit organization.
h) We will also apply
to the Lions Club of Coldwater for $1.000.00 / The Legion in Coldwater
$500.00 / Casino Rama $500.00 / and if all goes well I will apply to the
Trillium Foundation of Ontario.
i) We need 16 sets of matching
discs / at least a doz. more shuffle cues, 16 score boards. This cost is
in the neighborhood of $6.000.00.
j) We will be hosting the
Canadian Doubles Tournament here next year on June 26, 27 and 28th – and
we will need sponsors and prizes etc. / so please keep it in mind over the
winter. We will be calling on you for help. We need help in the areas such
as food preparation / cleaning discs or just being here for a good time of
shuffleboard.
