Winter Shuffleboard in Coldwater

Shuffleboard will be available again this winter in the auditorium of the Coldwater Community Center on Tue. afternoon, starting at 1:00 pm.

The first games are expected to begin on Tuesday October 20th, and preparations are being made for this start up date.  Shuffleboard ques will be available and games will be played on the “new “ Roll out Courts purchased with the OTF funding.

We have borrowed a 5th court for this year.

The Winter shuffleboard will be under the care and supervision of the Coldwater Shuffleboard Club director George Oreilly.

There is an elevator to the auditorium of the Community Center for anyone who may wish to forego the stairs and washrooms and kitchen facilities are on the second floor if required.

The winter program of shuffleboard is available to all interested parties and the cost for the winter season is still the same at $15.00. You may wish to play as often or as little as you prefer. There is no commitment to the club should you miss a day or more. Shuffleboard is meant to be fun and recreation. After all most everyone who play this game are retired seniors and have spent their entire life committed to a job of some sort.

Come out and have fun and above all, enjoy the fellowship of the other players.

Here we have some great models, Leo and Bev Fowler showing off our shirts. Don't they look great in them.
